The Coir Lined Window Box 60cm combines a sturdy black metal frame with a natural coir liner, creating a practical and attractive planter for windowsills, balconies, patios and outdoor living areas. Measuring 60cm long, it provides generous planting space for creating a lush display of foliage, seasonal colour, herbs or trailing plants.
The contrast between the black metal framework and warm natural coir gives the planter a clean, contemporary look while still fitting beautifully into more rustic or natural garden settings. The open metal construction also allows excess water to drain rather than collecting around plant roots.

How to use
Fill the Coir Lined Window Box 60cm with a suitable potting mix for the plants you intend to grow. The coir liner helps contain the growing medium while allowing excess water to drain through naturally.
For best results, choose plants with similar light and watering requirements when combining several varieties in one planter.
Water thoroughly after planting and monitor moisture regularly. Coir-lined planters can dry more quickly than solid containers, particularly during warm or windy weather, so watering frequency may need to increase during summer.
If the window box is being mounted rather than placed on a surface, always use suitable brackets or supports rated for the total weight of the planter, wet growing medium and mature plants.

Styling and placement
Create a full window-box display using compact flowering plants combined with cascading foliage around the edges. It also works beautifully as a herb planter positioned near a kitchen or outdoor entertainment area.
For a foliage-focused look, combine plants with contrasting leaf shapes and textures and allow trailing varieties to soften the edges of the metal frame.
