How to use
Rinse LECA thoroughly in clean water before use to remove loose clay dust. For best results, soak the cleaned LECA in water before transferring plants into a semi-hydroponic setup.
When converting a plant from a conventional growing medium to LECA, carefully remove as much organic material as possible from the roots before planting. Remaining organic material can decompose when continuously exposed to moisture.
For semi-hydroponic growing, place the plant into the LECA and use an appropriate reservoir system. Monitor water and nutrient levels according to the requirements of the individual plant.
LECA can also be mixed with other growing media when additional structure, drainage and aeration are required.
